Twelve years ago, a little white kitten was wrapped in a towel and dumped in a crate on a cold October morning. We left a message with a local rescue to let them know - especially since the crate door was partly open and we'd spotted another kitten hiding in the brush.By the time they called back a few hours later, it was too late. We were already in love.

Not every dollar has to stop at Amazon.We combine donations and shop where they'll go the farthest, turning the same support into more food, more litter, and more supplies for local rescues. But support doesn't always come in a box: sometimes it's helping with photos, online presence, transport, or other small tasks that independent rescues and fosters may not have the time or resources to handle.
